“Natter night” Monthly Meeting - 7:30 pm at Manor House Hotel - West Auckland - County Durham

“Natter night” Monthly Meeting - 7:30 pm at Ridley Arms, Stannington
3rd Tuesday of each month
3rd March: Manor House Natter - This is a very special event with a video presentation by The Great
North Air Ambulance Service who were very grateful for our donation of £610 raised from the raffle at
our Dinner Dance last November. There will be a hot and cold buffet priced at £11 per head to follow and
booking for the meal is essential through Barrie Hope, on 01740 630151 or at barrie.hope1@btinternet.
com
16th March: Stannington Natter and Quiz - One of our regular Natter attendees at The Ridley Arms , David
Rawlinson, has offered to set a quiz for us to test the grey cells so come along and be tested on general
knowldge, current affairs, sport, motor sport and MG matters. It will be a bit of harmless fun and you
could win a little something for your prowess. Go on, give it a go. We are trying to stimulate more interest
for this Natter and this is another opportunity for you to come along and meet like-minded people,
especially if you haven't been before. We meet as usual from 7:30pm in The Ridley Room through the bar.
28th March: Luncheon Run - This is a new feature in our calendar to extend the season beyond the
normal ‘light-night’ adventures, being a modest run of 25 – 30 miles following simple instructions
designed to get participants from the start to a good eating place. It’s an ideal opportunity to meet
friends old and new, and even bring the children along – they aren’t compulsory of course, especially if

25th April: The Cobweb Run - This is our first major event of the year on the Federation of British Historic
Vehicles Clubs' ‘Drive it Day' and will take you some 80 miles+ on a Tulip-style route designed to show
off the beauty of our wonderful countryside. It should blow the cobwebs off you and your car and set the
