The Tyne-Tees Centre
The Centre is part of the MG Car Club and members may take part in any event
organised by the Main Club or any other Centre.
The Centre covers an area which covers Northumberland, Durham, Tyne & Wear and
Cleveland. We welcome all MGs from the early J-types, T-types, MGA, MGB and Midgets
right through to the MGF, MGTF and ZR, ZS & ZT types.
MG Car Club of which the Tyne Tees Centre is a part, is affiliated to the Motor Sports
Association and all events are covered by a permit or waiver of permit. The Centre holds
two social gatherings on a monthly basis:

- The Manor House Hotel - West Auckland - County Durham on first Wednesday of
the month, 7:30 pm. - The Ridley Arms, Stannington - Northumberland on the third Tuesday of each
month 7:30 pm.
Typical events are:
- Natter Nights - the main meetings
- Tours - Lead by the organiser around scenic roads via places of
interest - Treasure Hunts and Road Trials - our way of telling you to "Get Lost"
- Autotests - Test your driving skills around an obstacle course laid out
with bollards. Another way to get lost on a small scale!
